This 4″ ribbon pairs a Royal Stewart-style tartan front with a solid light blue backing fused to the reverse. The plaid is woven on the bias, so its bands of red, green, black, white, navy, grey-blue, and fine yellow pinstripes run diagonally across the ribbon instead of squaring off with the edges. Red overlock stitching finishes both wired edges and frames the blue back neatly.

Unlike the tan-and-black version in this line, this one keeps the traditional green-and-red tartan colors. The light blue backing gives you a softer accent to play with. Twist a few loops as you build your bow so the blue peeks through. It’s a nice way to give a classic Christmas wreath a preppy update, and the 4″ width holds up well in large wreath bows, tree toppers, and mantel swags.
