The base of this metallic thread is Au Ver a Soie’s metallic thread. Painters Threads Braided Metallic Thread, approximately 10 meters.

Metallic thread can be difficult to work with, but in this form (a small braided band) it is much easier to sew with. Relatively strong; does not easily fray in the needle. Beautiful in all counted thread and surface embroidery techniques. Photographs do not do this sparkly thread justice!

As this is a hand-painted product, color variations are to be expected and swatches here are only an approximation.
